Special adviser, MSc. In ICT, Odile analyses strategic opportunities for the French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport Development and Network. She contribute to its European and International strategy throughout its active presence in Brussels at the French research organisation club at CLORA. She participate in the development of automated systems in transport and was the European coordinator of the truck platooning challenge 2016.

Bernard Jacob is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He was Technical Director for Road Safety and Operation, and head of the division for road operation signs and lighting with LCPC.
He has expertise in bridge safety, traffic loads on road bridges, heavy vehicle load measurement and overload detection and control, road operation and safety and vehicle trajectories, traffic monitoring and measurement. He is president of the International Society for WIM (ISWIM), member of the board of the International Forum for Raod Transport Technology (IFRTT), and French secretary of the PIARC technical committee CT2-3 on Freight Transport.

Joris Cornelissen has a degree in Urban Planning and Mobility (Universiteit Utrecht). He had a leading role in the European Truck Platooning Challenge (Rotterdam, April 2016) and is now programme manager of the Real Life Cases Truck Platooning in The Netherlands. Joris believes the key to the succes of Truck Platooning deployment lays in the succes of bringing all relevant aspects together (integral approach).

Dr. Tom Voege joined the International Transport Forum at the OECD as a Policy Analyst in 2015. He is coordinating work on ITS, including vehicle automation, shared mobility concepts, and big data in transport. Prior to joining the ITF he worked for the UN as a Traffic Safety Expert. He holds an MSc and PhD in Transportation Planning and Engineering from the University of Southampton.

Working at DAF Trucks for 31 years in various roles. Currently he is as project manager responsible for the vehicle advanced technology portfolio and the external contacts. In 2014 he was responsible for the organisation of the FISITA 2014 world congress in Maastricht and was deeply involved in the organisation of the European truck platoon challenge in April 2016.

Jean-Dominique Perrot is graduated from Lyon Arts et Métiers engineering school and from Lyon Management School. After several years in Polytechnic School of Lausanne, he joined Michelin, where he has been deploying tyres and services offers for agricultural, earth mover and truck industries, including “electronic” tyres for automated and platooned buses developed for Aichi Universal Exposition, hold in Japan, where he worked for 7 years.

Steve Philips, CEDR
Steve Philips started his career in the UK Department of Transport, and then he was the manager of the Environment Group at the UK’s Transport Research Laboratory (TRL). For over twenty-five years, he has been active in promoting European and international cooperation in the road sector, above all as Secretary General of the Forum of European Highway Research Laboratories (FEHRL).He was one of the initiators of the EU Truck Platooning Challenge. In 2015 Steve became Secretary General of CEDR, which brings together the national road directors of Europe and their respective staff.
