Bernard Jacob is graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées. He was Technical Director for Road Safety and Operation, and head of the division for road operation signs and lighting with LCPC.
He has expertise in bridge safety, traffic loads on road bridges, heavy vehicle load measurement and overload detection and control, road operation and safety and vehicle trajectories, traffic monitoring and measurement. He is president of the International Society for WIM (ISWIM), member of the board of the International Forum for Raod Transport Technology (IFRTT), and French secretary of the PIARC technical committee CT2-3 on Freight Transport.

After ten years as aeronautical engineer, Patrick Duprat joined Alstom Transport in 2000; within the group, he first worked as responsible for developing applications for metro projects, then R&D Project Manager for the development of a new driverless metro before becoming technical manager on turnkey system tenders. In 2008, he discovered the ground-level feeding system (APS) for trams as head of the engineering for projects. Since then, he is a Senior Expert and Head of the APS R&D programs including the "APS for Road" one. In addition, he is the Solution Manager of the APS solution.

Jan Nylander, Coucil of Gävleborg
Dr. Jan Nylander joined the County Council of Gävleborg in 2013 to take up responsibility for the innovation procurement project resulting in the E16 Electric road project. Today Jan also holds the position as head of the National Road and Rail administrations industry program for research, development and innovations in road and railway construction and maintenance and is a member of Norway’s research councils board for business development.
Prior to this Jan has worked in different public and private organizations, with Tech Transfer for large industry and venture capital, with Vinnova, Sweden’s Innovation Agency, and as the governments special investigator for transport innovation.

Urban Wästljung, Scania
Urban Wästljung graduated in animal ecology and has worked in Swedish political administration and industry as an expert in the fields of environment, energy and transport. He joined Scania in 1996 and has been working with issues like emission control, sustainable transport and renewable energy. He now holds a position as Senior adviser at Public and Sustainability Affairs and has focus on energy supply and decarbonisation of the road transport sector.

Patrik Akerman holds a M.Sc. in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden. He joined Siemens in 2009 and worked for three years in China (Beijing and Shanghai) for Mobility, the transportation division of Siemens, before moving in 2012 to Germany and taking on the role of Business Developer for e-Highway.

William Dénous is a Project Manager at IRU. Prior to his current position, he worked for a couple of years in the fields of advocacy and communications within the automotive and road transport sectors in Brussels. Recently, William has been involved in projects co-funded by the European Union on road safety and electro-mobility. William holds a Bachelor of law and Master’s degrees of Political Science, International Relations, European Affairs and Communications.

Philippe Redoulez, ATMB
Gratuated from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, P. Redoulez started his career with French local DoTs before steering the modernization of the Ministry of Transport from 2004 until 2008. Then he became Director of the SETRA until 2011, and then General Director of ATMB (Mont Blanc Tunnel and Motorway).

Graduated in engineering from ICAM (Lille), L. Gauthier joined Vinci Concessions in 2008 as project leader. Since 2015 he leads planning projects with Vinci Motorways (Cofiroute), above all around Nantes. In March 2017 he joined ATMB.
